Wilson Wellbeing Steering Group
The Wilson Wellbeing Steering Group was set up in late 2019 to oversee the planning and development of wellbeing services and activities at The Wilson and beyond on behalf of the community. The overarching aim is that Wellbeing services and activities are developed to fill existing gaps for the local community and then provided via existing or new providers, not by the Steering Group itself.
The Steering Group membership brings a diverse range of experience, knowledge and skills from the community, each member being tasked with engaging with their own networks, sharing feedback about the work of the Steering Group and ensuring community views are fed back into the Group discussions.

Membership of the Steering Group
The founding Wellbeing Steering group membership is made up of 11 appointed community members, together with the Chief Executive Officers from Merton Chamber of Commerce and Merton Connected. They all have voting rights for any decision.
In addition, there are currently 2 additional non-voting members who provide additional advice and support to the group - a project manager and Public Health consultant. The group is chaired by Diana Sterck, CEO of Merton Chamber of Commerce.
